Once upon a time, when the three factions — Atlas, Terra and Mythos were
still united as a kingdom — Ragnorak, there was an ambitious powerful
king named Godwin, whose mount was Brian, a wise creature of Mythica,
Royal Kirin.
One day, Godwin asked his great advisor and mount Brian, “ I’ve governed Ragnorak for more than 20 years and awed by my people, so do you think I’ m powerful enough to challenge the God at heaven?” Brian answered with a smile, “Your Majesty, you are an idol of power and wisdom, so why not take down the God and replace him with yourself? But if you want to defeat the Might God, you still lack a fantastic set of gear to equip yourself.”
So from then on, the king abused tens of thousands manpower to collect the required materials for the set — Dragonfrost Orbs, Dragonfire Orbs, Dragon Spirit Orbs and Dragon Essence Orbs, from the deepest dark abyss and the snowcapped Dragon Ridge. And hundreds of the best blacksmiths in Ragnorak devoted their life to crafting these four-pieces gear set and at last perished for exhaustion. Finally, the set had been done with shining lights, which includes a weapon, a helmet, a chest armor and a pair of leg armors.
On the day of the clash of mortal and God, Godwin wore his set riding the Royal Kirin to face the giant God. The battle was so fierce that it lasted for 3 days. Though the King’s power equaled to the God’s with his Godlike set and Royal Kirin’s assistance, he was mortal after all. He needed food to support his weakening body while the God enjoyed the divine power without the need of food. Consequently, the God took an edge over Godwin who had realized this fact and told his loyal friend, “ Perhaps it is too soon to fulfill my ambition now and I cannot endure his attack any longer, so please take my set and go to tell my descendents to complete my dream in future. As a result, the valiant and ambitious king paid his life as a price for his boldness. But Brian with the king’s set was never found again. And later, most Royal Kirin disappeared too for no reason after Ragnorak collapsed.
And the set which was used by Godwin, is known as Mythic Set to the modern Mythicans for its power of God peer. But the blacksmiths who can craft the set all died in an early age, so that no one masters the craftsmanship of Mythic Set any more. It is said that Royal Kirins were summoned by Biran to research on the craftsmanship of Mythic Set at an uncharted island.
But now the Royal Kirins are coming back to the Mythica with the craftsmanship of four types of Mythic Set available for all four classes.
As we know, those wise Royal Kirins cannot be tamed, but they will be the mounts willingly for those who with ambitions they respect. And the craftsmanship of Mythic Set has been retrieved now. All Mythic Saga warriors, are you ready?
